I hadn’t realized till now that that strip clubs in St. Louis may be a significant part of the area’s nightlife, like Dallas. I have been to Hollywood Show Club about a dozen times total, most on weekend nights, and at its very worst they sported a healthy crowd. Overwhelmingly white, but that’s OK – I was raised in a similar environment.

Can’t emphasize or repeat enough how proactive they are in the club. You can have a waitress that may be a little overbearing, but if you want a drink, there’s a good chance she’ll be there to take your order. And I wish they’d sweep by the bathrooms more often than they do to wipe up the sinks and take away the drinks from the holder next to the pissers. But I’m certain HSC may be the only place in East St. Louis that sends its workers to clean up the bathrooms, period.

Turnover here remains high. Only recognize a couple, and it seems they’re the same pestering bitches who monopolize the time of the first group of hip-hop-wearing white boys that saunter through the locked doors at the night shift. I’d like some stability here, so I’m docking a point. Fortunately I get that with Ivy, a stripper I think remains very underrated on the roster. She’s been there a couple years – that should stand for something.
