So I stopped in to Bev's...

So I stopped in to Bev's backstreet lounge on a wednesday. It's way down on the east side of davison avenue and I had to wait 10 minutes for a train to clear the railroad tracks almost causing me to turn around. Anyway. I get there and there's a fenced in parking area and nothing around it. A shady looking dude hit me up for 5 dollars to park. Then it was 10 dollars cover to get in where I was patted down and took a seat at the bar. I watched the pistons game on one of the theree tvs in the main area. About 6 other patrons in the bar including a white guy. The waitresses were friendly. I didn't try the food, but a waitress who was kind of dark and sexy herself, was eating so it must not have been bad. Beers were 4 bucks in the can. There weren't a whole lot of dancers. What was there wasn't bad, but wasn't spectacular either. I was hoping for more thick chicks, but most of em were athletic or thin. I was approached for a dance by one pretty good looking one , but I was watching the game and I told her to come back. She disapperaed and another one came up to me after the game, who was on the thin side, had an agressive conversation and rubbed me the right way at the bar before offeing me me 20 dollar dances in VIP. I countred 3 for 50 and through the swinging doors we went to a raised VIP area with a large bench/couch that encircled the room and a table for you to set your drink on while the dancer worked on you. I wasn't that impressed with the dances and didn't push for more . I finished my beers and left. The dancer gave me her number to contact her, but I haven't felt compelled to call. It's not a bad place to watch a Pistons game, has afriendly neighborhood vibe once you get inside, but I've had more fun in a club. Maybe I'll go back on a weekend where the selction of dancers might be better.
