I went back to the Showplace...

I went back to the Showplace last night after a long absence and quickly remembered why I had not returned for a while. The club itself is ok, a typical local place in a safe area, plenty of parking and easy access from Route 10. The problem lies with the staff and dancers. I was immediately hit up by the dollar parade when I entered, before I even got a drink. Declined to get a LD after recalling how short they were. Dancers were average looking, mostly Russian and unenthusiastic. Some have been there for quite some time. It's too bad because the Showplace does have potential and I live 5 min. away but I'm going to have to try other places in the area.
