I arrived solo during the lunch...

I arrived solo during the lunch hour (12-1PM) on a Friday. The club is easy to find off NW Highway and Lombardy with a large sign on the street marking the alley/side-road access. When I drove into the parking lot, there was virtually nobody parked outside (should have been my 1st sign). Once I entered the building (which is large and looks newish), I passed through the metal detector and paid the cover ($7).

Inside, the club is quite large with bars on both ends with counters/stools around the edge for those who prefer, an indoor smoking room (much better idea than having this area outside like other clubs where patrons stand out front and pollute the air and scenery at the entrance!!), and several rows of very clean, comfortable chairs & tables around one main stage. There was a huge 2-person on-stage shower (made of plexiglass) that would have been cool but unfortunately not active over the lunch hour.There was an upstairs VIP section that looked pretty big but it was even darker and quieter than the main stage so I never ventured up.

I was invited to take a seat by a lovely and very friendly waitress who took my drink order. I was the only patron sitting even remotely close to the stage (others were at the bar). Buffet was served at 12noon and consisted of a reasonable selection of southern/bbq style foods (chicken fried steak, corn bread, etc). Overall it was OK value ($7 cover) but not on the same level as TheLodge. I ordered a drink (Patron Margarita) for $9.25 which was OK but could have been stronger for the $$$.
