Lipstixx is a strip club with a sports bar feel. The wall is covered in sports stuff and there are televisions tuned to ESPN. There is a main stage in the center of the room and a second much smaller stage in the front of the building by the window (the window is covered with a shade that allows a silhouette to be seen on Bourbon). Both stages had poles. The club was dirty; garbage was laying all over the floors and tables. Lap dances are $40 or 3 for $100. The club takes $20 of each dance. When you take the 3fer deal, the dancer only nets $40. Beers were $7 a pop. Cover was $5, not too bad considering the Mardi Gras festivities.

Half the girls were black, half were white, and all were in their early twenties I’d say. They ranged from 6’s to 9’s. In general, the stage show was excellent and the quality of girls was good.

Lap dances are performed in the old servant rooms off of the courtyard on the rear of the premises. You have to go outside to get to these rooms, which was not too pleasant considering it was raining. Once inside the room I noticed there were three other girls giving lap dances to customers on couches and chairs spread around a coffee table, no privacy. My choice for the night performed a typical lapper. There was a little unit grabbing and licking, but otherwise nothing to write home about. I’ve had much better for half the price.
