Quick Take: The Lodge is a wonderful restaurant and a terrible strip club.
Went here for lunch on a Tuesday. Cover was $5, and the place was pretty slow but still enough people for a weekday afternoon. The club is huge, with maybe 4 or 5 different rooms, all of them decorated invitingly with big, comfy chairs. We were seated in 'the library' just a couple of tables away from the small 'stage' in the center of the room- really it was more of a platform raised only two feet off of the ground with a pole in the middle. The stage in the main room is much larger, and I think includes a waterfall. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, which was delicious, and priced very reasonably at lunchtime- $5 specials, otherwise expect to pay $10-15. If I were going to return, it would be for the food.
The problem was the dancers. The girls on stage didn't do much of anything. A couple of them swayed, one girl actually danced a bit. One girl stood there and fussed with her skirt for the entire three minutes. No one went up to tip, so I'm not sure which is the cause and which the effect. A few girls were sitting at the bar, some chatting with customers, but more were just looking bored. We weren't approached by a single dancer, not even for a simple hello. We saw maybe ten girls, but I'm assuming there had to be more working because of how large the club is. I'd rate most of them as 6-7's. Nothing lower than a 4, but for all the hype I've heard about this place I'd expected mostly 8-9's and was quite disappointed. After finishing our meals and our drinks (those were still somewhat overpriced) and still no attention at all from the dancers, we decided to leave. If you're looking for some great stage entertainment, lap dances, or conversation with a lovely dancer, DO NOT look for it at the Lodge.
