I've been to Flashdancers 3 times...

I've been to Flashdancers 3 times and I have to say this is a good place to head to after a hard week of slaving in the office. I enjoy the atmosphere here and my usual routine is to just spend the first hour or so just soaking up on it. Cover is free before 5 pm, $10 after 5 pm, and $20 after 8 pm. Upon the entering the club, you head down a flight of stairs to a table where you pay your cover fee. Turn to your right and you are in the heart of the club. You are required to check your coat if you have one so get that out of the way. Drinks are $10 minimum and you have to purchase at least one in order to sit down. You will most likely be seated either in one of the seats right at the main stage or one of the tables a few feet away from the stage. There are some other tables located in the area of the club where lap dances are given. When the club isn’t too full you shouldn’t have problems sitting there but once the guys who have reservations start showing up you will be expected to move. The music is pretty much just remixed versions of a bunch of top 40 songs…not something I would listen to for enjoyment but it suits the environment perfectly.

Most of your fellow patrons are white-collar professional dressed up in their suits though you do see a few stereotypical skeevy guys creeping the place up on any given night. I had one experience where a middle aged Asian man sitting next to me in the front row of the main stage started basically was masturbating through his pants - yikes! 95% of the guys you see there are mostly just normal people though.

Now for the part everyone is probably most interested in – the girls! Yes you will be approached by a good amount of women, sometimes multiple times by the same chicks. Most girls will pretty much just lose interest and take off once you indicate your disinterest but there are a few that are a bit more pushy. For most of them though, a quick “Not right now, thanks” is good enough.
