Recently bought by the Silk chain...

Recently bought by the Silk chain out of Milwaukee, mgmt. says they will pour money into remodeling this place as soon as their local licensure is apporved. It needs updating.

Basically one large room with a slightly elevated, rectangular-shaped stage at one end, surrounded by a rail and about 16 chairs. Two stripper poles which turn for tricks--each gal performs two songs per pole, so they're on stage for four songs total per stage time. [Silk Milwaukee constantly rotates girls, so no gal is at one stage position for more than one song = advantage Silk Milwaukee.] Between the stage area and bar are three rows of cocktail tables surrounded by cloth-covered captain's chairs (not much give in the seat = not very comfortable.) VIP area is one step up from main floor, but off to the side of the room near the front entry. It has no stage, and is far away and at an awkward angle to view the main stage. Surely mgmt. will move VIP during remodeling and/or improve it with it's own stage. It was largely unoccupied last night.

Cover was $10, though they "honor all internet (Strip Club List) and competitor coupons." Imported bottled beer (Bech's is $5.50.) Bought one dancer drink which was $6.00 -- dancer said it was some type of mixed alcohol. Lap dances are $20 per song, performed topless, one-way grind-a-thon, and done in cubicles (small cubicles!) off to the side. VIP is curtained off and to the side of the cubicles. Same rate and rules as Silk Milwaukee ($300 for the half hour), no touch for the guys; really it's the same as a couch dance, only more intimate for you and the girl and you get a bottle of champagne (no chance for extras in VIP.) So, unless you're utterly desperate, skip the VIP option--reinvest the money you'll save in a much more filling and satisfying steak at the nearby Ruth Chris Steakhouse!)
