Jan. visit with new admission twist: For the week I was there (not sure if it is a regular practice) club was advertising free admission prior to 5pm. Sounds like a good thing to do on late Friday afternoon. I asked for, and got, hand stamp good for a later evening admission with intervening dinner in nearby Longhorn. Both the 430- 630, and the 9-11 pm visits had the sweet spot feeling to them. Two different shifts in 1 day with no effective cover (there was a mandatory $6 drink ticket purchase)- sign me up.

HAPPY HOUR VISIT: This was more laid back than my customary night visits, but hardly dead. I'd caught transition hour with some day shift departures & swing shift arrivals. I'd say there were 10-14 available dancers at any given moment, with very few dancers less than a "7". There was good diversity, ranging from a short blonde 30 something tanned cheerleader type, to a tall lanky auburn hair with some tats that must have been 6'5"- 6'6" in heels. There was 1 dancer on stage at all times. I stuck with a couple of good 3 for 60 dances. IMO, having to pay bouncer $5 to go back there each time with different dancer is a PITA. But, given the price structure, minimal song clipping (they're 3- 3:15) compared with some recent SoCal visited clubs had me shrug this aspect off. One off key moment occured with 3rd dancer, an attractive newbie.(Apparently). Dance was mechanically repetitive with back turned to me almost the entire time. I bailed after 1 dance, she was going to charge me for 2. We did go in early in 1 song, but she didn't start dancing until the 2nd song- she did take her top off the partial entry song, but really didn't do anything. After going back and forth a few times, and pointing out that fact, she relented to one. With many other dancers going back in partial songs have said "we'll start on next song". So, if dancer doesn't speak up on this, one is best advised to ask dancer if the meter is running.

NIGHT VISIT: The subpar dance coupled with lunctime sandwich fading prompted the dinner break. I promised a curvaceous attractive Latina that I'd be back after dinner. Sure enough, I snagged her for a 3 fer special. She was good, so I did a $25 single song extension. 8-9pm seems to be another transition hour with more arrivals- a dark haired Italian beauty with good bolt ons, a bright blonde Eastern European, and, I think (maybe it was an earlier weeknight visit) a goth look with tat sleeve. The Asian called Asia was still there. The crowd was picking up, and now there were 2 dancers on stage at once. Bathroom troll was also there- he's there at nights, even early/midweek. I didn't do the spaceship tonight- I did on early week visit. It's $200/ half hr, plus tacitly expected $10 dancer drink, and tip to female attendant. Besides getting a free cover pass for future club visit, dancer is taken out of stage rotation during session. Also, music is at a more subdued, intimate level in spaceship. On main floor, one should sit on bar side of stage- the noisiest speakers are on restroom side of stage.
