Had the experience of checking out Cheaters two nights in a row. Doing a single review for both as there was little variation night to night. In both cases about 12 dancers on shift. I've been to Cheaters a few times in the past but I don't remember it being quite so "dark." Dancers were decidedly African American both nights, say over 50%. 3-4 white dancers (seemingly of Russian origin) and a couple of Hispanics. Arrived around 11:30 PM both nights and neither night was crowded. Stage dances were a mixed bag with a couple or sometimes no one tipping. The upstairs bar area was mostly empty as well. Just to recap the fees: $5 entry. $10 to Godiva room. $10 for a dance in the Godiva room and $35 for a booth. $4 waters. (At least one dancer seemed willing to forego these at the risk of management's wrath while the two I eventually got dances insisted that they needed to be paid. First night had several dances from a Russian named Paige. A tall brunette with curves, easily the best looking dancer in the house both nights. (At least of the non-black ones.) Dancers were decent two way contact (no groin contact either way) and reasonably priced at $20. The second night I got a booth session with Heather. Tips for the dancers seemed negotiable. Available that night were hand jive, billy joel, and the full monty. On the plus side, negotiable rates and services plus $1 cabarets from almost all the dancers. On the negative side, the place is not very clean, dancer choices were rather limited if you have preferences for whites, hispanics, or asians. Lastly, all of the extra charges would become annoying if I went there more often.
