Used to be a very regular...

Used to be a very regular patron at the Paradise but my visits the past year or so have been pretty few and far between. Had probably been 3 or 4 months since my last visit when I decided to take a chance on the place this past Wednesday evening. Arrived around 6:30 and was surprised to see a fair number of girls and patrons. Past experience had suggested that the place would be pretty dead. My membership had expired a few months back but it was just a matter of paying $15 (used to be $10) and leaving my ID for a few minutes with the bouncer and I was once again good to go for another year. Noticed that they replaced the old tables and that there was the promise of a VIP room but the place otherwise looked exactly the same. Good drink special with several cheap beers going for a buck and a quarter. Waitress and bartendress were both pretty cute and fairly efficient without being annoying. Was asked once if I wanted to buy a dancer a drink and, when I turned her down, she just said "maybe next time" and moved on. College basketball on both the TV's which is nice when you just aren't too into the dancer on stage. A couple of the dancers who were there when I arrived left shortly after seven so I would figure them as the day shift. They were both fairly cute and I remembered them from earlier visits. Probably about 6-8 girls by the time I left around 9 or so. A couple of them were very cute. There was a tall thin brunette who was probably the best of the lot and who was occupied, one way or another, the entire time I was there. Another was a younger (maybe Italian) brunette with a nice tan and a nice backside. Never did find out her name. Was approached by most of the other dancers at some point (one came by 3 times) but none of them were really my type so I turned down their dance requests. Was another girl who I spoke with briefly who was really pretty (gorgeous face and nice breasts) but who had obviously had a baby recently and had the scars to prove it. Still cute but just wasn't feeling it. In fact, I wasn't "feeling it" the whole time I was there. This place used to be a lot of fun but most of the girls there the night I visited either weren't all that cute or just seemed to be going through the motions. I left without getting even one dance though the value lap-dances were my primary reason for going. Everyone was friendly enough but I guess I just wasn't impressed. Will I go back again...and sooner? Yes, I probably will. It was just a Wednesday night and I might have caught the place on an off-night but I was hoping for better. There a few girls I remembered but a lot of my favorites who used to work here don't any more and the new dancers were a mixed bag. On a side note, one of the girls I remembered sat with me for a while and showed me the new "VIP room" which wasn't open yet. It is just a small area behind the stage with a long couch along the sides. There is a two-way mirror allowing you to watch the dancer on stage when you are there. Looked OK I guess but if more than a couple of people were back there, it wouldn't be very private. Not sure what the pricing will be either. Can't imagine it would be worth the money as the normal dances here are pretty high mileage to start with. Still, I guess it could be fun if money were no object. If you are already a member, the place can be a very inexpensive place to have a few beers and I would imagine you might find a girl you could connect with though the quality seems to be down a bit.
