Stopped in about a month ago...

Stopped in about a month ago after dropping someone off at the airport. This is a club that wants to be in the big league fancy gentleman's club circle, but does not quite make it. Owned by one or some of the same people as Oasis down the street, this is definitely a step up but it has neither the service nor the presentation to achieve the top ranks. The bartender on the day of my visit was a hard faced Philly blonde who would have been quite at home in any of the Risqué clubs. She was chewing gum, couldn't be bothered with customers that she did not know, and openly displayed contempt for dancers that she did not like. All of these are quick ways to lose ground with me. I was there in the slow hours of the afternoon and there were not many dancers or customers. The one dancer that I connected with, an African-American gal whose name I have misplaced, was a delight. No pushing for private dances, no self-obsessed tales of woe regarding her desperate but entirely innocent need for money, no attitude about my tipping other dancers. She was intelligent and personable, sweet and insanely sexy, and in our private dances she remained focused on me and the dance. As a result, I dropped about $400 on her and toddled off. Not sure whether I will try the club again: too much attitude with too little follow-through.
