this place is on a constant slide downhill. in talking with a couple of dancers while we were there, we learned the following; they are struggling to keep decent girls. dancers are not 'allowed by management' to dance according to the current law. the law has laxed due to an oregon supreme court ruling, evidently allowing for dancer to customer contact. stars makes the girls sign a contract but refuses to give the girls a copy when they ask for it (that's illegal) which sounded more like an employer / employee relationship than the supposed independent contractor status that they claim to have..... dancers are told they must take off all their clothes at the start of the second song. EVEN IF THERE ARE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE CLUB AND EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT TIPPING so what has happened is guys pay the club to watch naked girls who pay the club $35+ for the privilege of entertaining the clubs drinking clientele. wow no wonder there are so many strip bars in portland! overpriced drinks, nice bartenders, dj that is told to play 80's and early 90's rock even though the girls have to pay the dj. AIR DANCES, overpriced inedible food,( i sent mine back it was on a scalding hot plate but cold noodles they forgot to reheat)..... better
