I hate to give this bar...

I hate to give this bar a bad review. This has been one of my favorite clubs for years. And I'm sure its still good at times, but like many of the clubs I've been to recently, it must be hurting too. I hadn't been in a couple of years, but I found myself driving down I-71 recently on a Thursday around 6:00 p.m. There was a time that you could come to this bar on a Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. and there would have been 10 girls dancing and a reasonable group of customers. Not this visit.

I entered the club and paid no cover which I now know is a bad sign. As I kept walking there were exactly two girls in the club and two customers. They were both sitting with one of the girls. In the hour I was there no additional dancers arrived and no one appeared on the stage. The girls also never left their "regulars." But, who could blame them. Although I was willing to throw money around that night, they didn't know it, and I guess I can't blame them for sticking with there regular. (I must say one guy was laying it on really heavy with this dancer sitting near me at the bar. She was having none of it, but I gave her credit for feigning interest. He had no idea how little interest she had).

In the end, I drank two beers and left in a little over an hour never seeing one girl on the stage. One of the dancers did get up at one point and offer me a private dance for $30 or a shower show for $150. I passed. She just wasn't my type.
