I was at a conference all...
I was at a conference all week in DC, and on the last night, me and three other guys decided we wanted to see some peelers. Camelot is in a long narrow row house, typical of the large, old cities of the East Coast. The inside had a cheesy medieval theme. It is overpacked with tables and chairs, making walking around difficult. You are assigned seats/table by the two bouncers at the door. The stage was tiny, about the size of a card table, and featured a pole. The dancers were limited to how they could perform with the stage being so tiny. If they spun or swung on the pole, they'd hit a customer with their stilettos.
There is no cover at the door but that is quickly made up by the club on the ludicrous drink prices. A bottle of beer was $9 and the extremely pushy waitress was at our table every ten minutes ordering us to buy another round of drinks even though we had not finished the previous round yet. She told us we would be kicked out if we didn't keep buying drinks. After one hour at the club, each of us had dropped $50 on 5 beers and not all of them were consumed.
The one positive is that there are some good-looking girls dancing here. A few were 7's and 8's, girls that can get you rock hard. However, there is absolutely no contact here (no contact anywhere in DC). Girls dance on stage for a couple songs then walk around the club saying, "Thank you, guys", at each table expecting a tip. They'll let you slip the tip in their thong or just take it in their hand. No touching, no lap dances, no value.
