I returned to Amanda's after not going for almost 4 months. Many of the dancers passing through have done just that. Those remaining on the day shift - Amber, Stormy, Dallas, Nina, Isis, Raven, and Tegan - all know how to please. Those worried about the location of the private dance area in relationship to the DJ booth shouldn't do so. The DJs don't act as enforcers; there are cameras that will tattle on those breaking the rules. Amanda's is a nice, comfortable club where the color of your collar doesn't matter. The beer is reasonably priced and there is a minimal cover of $1 before 6 p.m. The music is good and when the dancers are busy then break songs are played. Everyone seems to get along just fine. All in all, the addition of a DJ has helped the music quality and the regular dancers help keep the customers coming back. Also, many of the dances have good mileage and contact is not a dirty word. Therefore, go and enjoy yourselves.
