Checked out the Pony on a sat night. First time in a strip club in Memphis in years. Used to love PP! It was #1 in it's heyday. The pony was a sad disappointment. Paid $6 at the door and $5 for draft in a 8oz plastic cup. The girls ranged from a single 7 to more than a few 0's- mostly 3's. No show to speak of though 1 full-figured gal(190-200?)did attempt a cartwheel. None of that would have been overly remarkable but I did get one girl ,who I believe was called Marilyn, to tell me her story and that was my 6 $ worth. She explained to me that she had recently been incarcerated on the charge of involuntary manslaughter. Her and her boyfriend had accidentally killed the elderly man that she was caring for while trying to rob him. She explained that it was an accident but that she did have to serve 18 months of a multiple year sentence and that her boyfriend was still in prison. She was working at the club until he was released. Now I am not sure if it was supposed to make me feel compassion for her situation and help her out. I have heard a few baby sick stories at these places but it did make me a little uncomfortable having her sitting aside of me.I don't know if I will ever try the pony on when i run through this town again, the club wasn't worth a second look but I am sort of curious of what will become of her. I guess it was in a way entertaining.
