I haven't been to this club...
I haven't been to this club in a couple of years, and I must say, the economy has appeared to hit this club. No, it wasn't empty, and I'm sure they are still doing fine, but the one thing about this club is that it almost always was busy in the past. This was the smallest crowd I have ever seen in this bar. To be fair, I arrived around 8 and only stayed until about 9:30, so I'm sure it got busier later. But still, I was shocked.
There have been a lot of changes made to the club. The front stage has been cut out with tables and chairs placed behind the small dancer stage that completely encircles this area. It seemed impossible to sit back there, and a dancer told me she doesn't think they know what they are going to do with that area yet. There were still plenty of dancers around, perhaps more dancers than customers while I was there. They looked like the normal cowboys lot, which means you won't find any 9 or 10's, but most are reasonably attractive with a couple of 8's, but most fell in the 6-7 range. They still offer $5 table dances and $20 couch dances.
There are a lot of new HD televisions in this club, on nearly every wall, which has the effect of making the club much brighter than it used to be in years past. I recall walking into this club and having difficulty seeing for a couple of seconds while my eyes dilated to the dark club. That is no longer a problem. It is noticeably brighter.
