I stopped by Diamond Club Cabaret...
I stopped by Diamond Club Cabaret after a dancer at another club told me it had opened. This club used to be Centerfolds. The club has been renovated. The have a more open layout with upstairs VIP areas. The upstairs is a series of rooms and at one end there is an open balcony that looks down on the club. The downstairs couch room is in the same place it was at Centerfolds but the couches themselves are new and quite comfortable. They are different than the normal couch. Overall, it looks pretty nice.
The night I was there, there weren't many dancers (that I saw anyway) and a few groups of customers. I was given a tour of the place by one of dancers. As I understand it, they are open but are waiting till February to advertise.
Couch dances were $30 I believe. The upstairs had a range of prices depending on length and type of dance. I didn't get a dance after I was told that they are trying to be more upscale, so the dances are not like they were at Centerfolds. So my impression was that mileage was going to be low. Seems like they may be going for the "classy" guys instead of dudes like me. Again, this was all talk...I didn't spend the money on dances so it remains to be seen what things are really like.
