Stopped in at Joy again last...

Stopped in at Joy again last night (Tuesday) in the hopes of enjoying some bargain LDs. As the previous reviewer stated, LDs on Tuesday are $5/song all day and all night. However, two things prevented me from achieving my goal. First, in spite of spending almost 2 hours surveying the dancers by tipping stageside, I didn't find a single one that I thought would provide a good mileage dance. That was a BIG surprise, especially considering that most of the dancers fell in the 6 - 8 rating category - but the "naughty factor" just seemed to be missing in all of them. Second, it was obvious that the DJ was cutting the songs short. Maybe this has always been the case, but I have not noticed it in the past. My estimate is that the DJ was cutting the songs to no more than 2 minutes. Compared to other times when dances are $10/song and the songs aren't shortened, the $5/dance deal isn't as good a deal as it sounds. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than the full price of $20/full song, but compared to fully nude, high contact dances in Tampa for the same price, I didn't feel it was worth it and decided to save my money for my next visit to Tampa. Obviously this is one of the few times that the head on my shoulders was doing the thinking during a strip club experience :)

Still a good place to hang out, but be sure to check the length of the songs before you get carried away.
