A recent visit to Silky's was not as positive of an experience as I had hoped it would be, considering that it used to be one of my favorite clubs. The girls were friendly, as has always been the case, but the talent level seems to have declined (maybe they are all working down the street at the always over-rated Club Erotica). The club was not at all crowded, and it was very annoying that they stopped putting dancers on stage when no one was sitting right there at the railing. Guess what - people standing or sitting in other parts of the club are there to watch too! Girls seemed more interested in carrying on long conversations with regulars than dancing on stage or asking patrons for "private" dances. I could never trash this place totally, it has a reasonable $10 cover with multiple varieties of "free" beer. But it does seem to have gone downhill, sadly.
