Well, Mecca was too far away,...

Well, Mecca was too far away, so I opted for Cheetahs in San Diego. I think I arrived about 9pm or so, and left at 1:30am, a half hour before closing. Had to pay $18 cover since VIP card had expired. This got me a new VIP card good until December 2010. Also got me two 6-oz juice drinks, since they don't serve booze here. Bummer, but there is a booze joint a few steps away the DJ openly pitches.

Still the same layout. One elevated main stage with the famous "San Diego moat" around, to keep horny young lads from reaching out and touching a bare naked dancer. Each gal performs two song sets, the first topless and the second in the birthday suit. Songs seem to be clipped at 3 minutes or so. Then the dancer walks around the moat to collect a $1 tip from each patron. Having been here before and spent too much money in the back (hey, when a dancer in Vegas remembers you from a year earlier here...) I elected this time to sit at the rail and merely shell out the $1s. In so doing I believe I got out after about 4.5 hrs for about $70 total spent.

On this night there was LOTS of beauty! 45 or 50 girls present and maybe about half full of a full house in terms of the number of male customers they could handle. I found the overall talent to be better than what it was last year. Any many were standing around waiting for business, if not soliciting it openly. I had one girl, an 8 or a 9, latch onto me From behind) at the bar as I tried to get my first drink. Never had that occur last year. She was of college age and very much into scoring spare money during her break. Even mentioned the upcoming consumer electronics and porn trade shows coming up in Vegas and her plans to migrate there to work them. So obviously she was very seriously-minded about making dough. Eventhough I mentioned to her I wanted to sit at the rail and watch the full cast perform, she came back to me twice during the evening to pitch dance offers. I don't think I've ever had a gal that good-looking pitch me that many times in one visit. But then considering Cheetahs would be closed the next night for New Year's, maybe that's why many more gals turned out for a Wednesday night's work effort???
