After several visits that were inconsistent, I've tried this club again a couple of times since my last review. This club definitely has some of the most attractive and sexy dancers in Portland. And it definitely has the highest level of interaction at the rack. And I've definitely found out recently that it doesn't seem to matter if you tip $1 or $2 at the rack. Some girls will get in your lap for $1 and others won't for $2.

Yet I find it puzzling that half or more of the customers don't sit at the rack at any given moment in time.

Talking to the dancers has provided some insight. At least one told me that she wasn't making any money dancing there. It certainly wasn't due to her looks. (And I found out that they have no stage fee so that can't be it either.) Another told me that the boss doesn't hire anyone "who isn't nasty" so that explains the high level of interaction at the rack, the occasional two girl interaction (which I haven't seen yet but don't doubt that it happens), or the great come-on for the expensive private dances.
