This club is a lot like a quirky sports car: Delivers some "punch" that many other clubs don't, but with some annoyances that you wouldn't put up with in many other clubs. This based on 2 different Sat. nights in 4Q 09.

WHY SILVER REIGN?/ This club is one of very few clubs downtown/LAX circle offering nude lap dances.(Many have nude stage shows or optional private airshows, but few true nude LD's). Although YMMV applies here, I've had my best outside of COI here. In almost all cases, the contact was there, but some dancers were obviously mechanically going through the motions. At $40 per nude clipped song (there's a $20 topless option, but no dancer is telling you about it), one can get very choosy about repeat business. There's a modicum of privacy in the 4-5 alcoves. One Sat. wasn't too crowded - managed to get alcove all to ourselves, with occasional checkup by floater. Other Sat. was 50/50.

WHY NOT// Drink hustle is more pervasive, and expensive here, with dancers seemingly favoring $20 bottled water. Waitress is on you like mosquitos on a bleeding dog on initial trip to LD area, or dancer sitdown. No thanks, I'll give her a niuce tip, if she's good. Nitpacking item, but only a single restroom, one patron at a time in Waffle House style restroom. With mixed audience, a line can sometimes form by DJ booth. Rather than wait towards end of visit, I just left & made "honey cup" (eg-leftover 16-20oz fast food paper cup) in my rental car.
