I visited the Gold Club for...

I visited the Gold Club for the first time the week after Thanksgiving. I mainly went in to get a couple of beers, after visiting Mons Venus and Scarletts (juice bars with no alcohol). In the Tampa area, nude clubs don't serve alcohol, and the clubs that serve alchol are topless only (usually with a G string and pasties on the dancers nipples). My review covers two visits, Friday from about 5 pm to 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 8pm till about 10pm. There was no cover before 7 pm, and domestic beers were about $2.50 to $3.00. After 7pm the cover was $10, and beers were about twice the price of happy hour.

Friday evening had a good crowd, with about 10 dancers rotating between the main stage and bar tops. I sat at one of the bars, and tipped the dancers $1 each as they came by. Most dancers were in the 5-7 range, and danced with a G string and pasties. I was asked by a couple of dancers to try a lap dance, at $30/ song, which I declined and waited for a 2 for 1 special. When the DJ announced the dance special, a nice brunette (Amber I think?) asked me if I'd like to do the special. I said yes, and off we went to the lap dance booths, that were fairly private without interuptions from the bouncers. As she started her dance, I asked what her rules were, and she said I could touch anywhere except between her legs. She gave a nice dance with decent 2 way contact. As I caressed her tits, her pasties came off, and she just left them off untill after our set. I did 3 songs with her, which was fine. Then had a couple of more beers and left for the night.

The next night (Saturday) I went in a little latter, about 8 pm, paid the $10 cover and thought it would be busier. It wasn't, it was dead. Hardly any customers, and only about 4 or 5 dancers. A dancer would only come on the main stage for a couple of songs and then leave. Then it would be about 20 minutes untill the next dancer came on. None of the dancers were asking any of the few guys there to do lap dances, so I had a few beers and went back to Mons. Had a better time at Mons that night.

All in all the Gold Club is OK to get a couple of beers , but go elsewhere for your lap dances.
