So I was at that end...

So I was at that end of town the Tuesday before Christmas, and decided to stop in to Bottoms Up. I had last been there sometime in October, and it was a entertaining enough, but the latest reviews made me wonder if things had maybe deteriorated.

Based on last night's visit, I've come to the conclusion that one of three things is true. Either weekdays are better than weekends, I'm extremely lucky to be there when the pickings are good, or I have lower standards than everybody else. Though there were certainly some less than beautiful performers on shift there, only two of them would I consider ugly. And even they were getting *some* tips.

The club interior is small, and less than brightly lit, except for the area near the bar. Some may call that dingy, I call it private, and I prefer it that way. Straight ahead as you walk in is the bar itself and the men's restroom. To the left is a raised seating area with a large screen TV, which had a basketball game on when I was there. Between the bar and this seating area is an aisle that leads to the only stage and another area with seats. I sat in the raised area by the TV, as everything else was too close to the stage for my taste.
