Stopped in for the first time...

Stopped in for the first time in a while. First visit since Virginia went smoke-free Dec. 1. Actually CCR is not smoke-free, it has a seperate smoking room. I hate smoking but the separation seemed to work pretty well, only a slight smell of smoke in the air.

CCR is a different type of club, half neighborhood bar, half strip club. Dancers were more attractive than I expected from past visits but most were a bit over ideal weight and quite a few had too many tats for my taste (I prefer zero!) A bottle of Bud was $4.50. It was pretty crowded this visit. Food was quite good and reasonable. Overall, a pleasant place to watch dancers although the atmosphere was subdued. Maybe I'll give it one more try on a Friday or a Saturday. Dancers come around for a $1 tip after their set. They were generally pleasant, smiled and seemed friendly.
