On my recent trip to the Sundowner, I was rather disappointed. The girls were decent, but my buddy and I both got hustled for dances. I got a dance about two minutes after I got there. She was okay and it was $20/song. I thought it was only two, but she said it was three. Having just arrived, I wasn't drunk, But I was hoping to just have a good time, so I gave her the money. I thought she was just a fluke...I have been to the Sundowner 6 previous times and never had such an encounter. My buddy then went back a little while later and actually got hosed out of 1-1/2 songs (she started halfway through and refused to wait). I figured we'd give them one more chance, so the next girls come up to us and ask for a dance. They weren't that good looking, but I thought they might be good value. They wanted to take us both back at the same time and they were going to lick/play with each other. We were back for 2 songs and then they asked if we wanted to continue. They weren't that good and their breath smelled, so I said no that is enough. I asked the damage and they said 5 songs...so I assumed that was total, but they wanted 5 songs each. We were stuck, and my buddy didn't want to make a scene, so we paid and then just left. Very disappointing. I'm not sure what happened to the Sundowner I used to know, but this was horrible.
