Helping to celebrate my buddy's return...

Helping to celebrate my buddy's return from the east coast after 10 years, we headed over to the HT on a Sunday night to see how the place was like. He and I have been to the club on a Sunday night before when he would make visits back to SoCal and it was typically dead. But not on this night. I was surprised to see the place packed that I had to stop and think what day of the week it was. Yup, it was a Sunday. A couple of girls told me that it was busier this night because the rainstorm the night before kept everyone home. I didn't buy that but needless to say, it was a busy night.

We ended up sitting on the high bench area directly facing the stage and the bar a little after 10:00pm. Not typically the best place to sit because you have to sit straight up and not very comfortable for a long period of time. My friend started talking about the last girl who he got a good vibe from the last time we were here during the summer and ended up giving him a bogus phone number at the end of the night. Sure enough, the first girl to greet us was the one he was speaking about - Amy. She was pleasant and smiling and my friend even called her out on the bullshit number she gave him and she promptly excused herself. He ended up talking to her the rest of the night anyway with a couple of couch dances strewn in between.

My only contact was with Irie. She is cute and I have spoken to her before. What is with her covering her mouth and whispering when she says anything? I felt bad because I had to ask her to repeat everything she was saying. I took her to the back couch for a dance. Nice girl but did not take her up on her VIP offer.
