I stopped in on a Tuesday...

I stopped in on a Tuesday night in early September 2004 while in Des Moines. I had been to this club once over a year ago and had a pleasant time. I thought about going to Big Earl's, but with laps apparently being $25 according to reviews, I thought I would stop in here again.

I was pleased to find that not much changed since I was here last. The place is small, with a dozen or so coctail tables separating a short bar from a small stage. There are a couple pool tables in back. Cover was either $2 or $3, drinks were cheap too, $2 for a diet coke. Wait staff was reasonably attentive. Music was from a jukebox.

I park myself at the stage, as usual I am the only one who purposefully sits there, as my latest "strategy" is to tip and meet as many of the dancers as possible, despite the fact I generally know within 10 minutes of entering the place who I want dances from.
