This place was never a favorite...

This place was never a favorite and I hadn't been in many years. But a friend dragged me. It's not hard to drag me to a strip club.

$5 cover, but that apparently gets you a free $10 dance. (I didn't follow up to get details.) AS many others have stated, the club is really big and really glitzy. If you are awed by shiny objects, this is the place for you.

The reputation of Christie's Phoenix is: the dancers are extraordinarily beautiful but possibly a bit snooty, and you won't get much contact during the dances. Based on this one brief visit, I agree with other reviewers who say that the dancers are no more attractive than you'd typically find at Hi-Liter or Bourbon Street or several other clubs around town. As for snooty... all I know is that my friend and I sat for 25 minutes, tipping stages and being friendly, and we were not approached once for dances. As many as five dancers sat together at a table not far from ours, having a good old time, ignoring us.
