I have not hung out at the Yellow Rose in years due to a drop in dancers. I have also thought that the dances are not as friendly as other clubs in Austin. This chnaged on my last visit. I dropped by on a Monday evening and was about to leave after 20 minutes. Not many dancers and none of them tickled my fancy. Out of nowhere a beautiful Asian/ Latina spinner grabbed me for the 2 for 1 special. She was gorgeous and we did 5 dances. She gave very intimate dances. She then said we should get a booth, $60 later we are having drinks in a booth and getting way more intimate. Best time I have had in Austin in sometime.
