The Sands is a pretty low key. I went on a Wednesday. It was fairly clean. No cover. $10 gets you two nonalchoholic drinks. There is a bar next door, though. The girls push hard to get you to buy them a drink too, which is a bit frustrating having already been dinged $10 for a few ounces of watered down cola.

There were 3 or 4 girls there, and most were pretty attractive. Good variety physically. I found that if you didn’t go with the first few to approach you, the rest would ignore you until you approached them. Dances ranged from $30 on up. But the room is set up so that dances can be pretty aggressive. All within appropriate limits, of course. If you are looking for something more laid back and less glitzy than the big clubs, it's definitely worth a look.
