Chochotte is not a strip club in the tradtional US style, but an erotic theatre. The price of entry is 50 EUR, which may seem a little expensive, but that is all you have to pay for as long as you care to stay. There is no bar, no champagne room, no high-mileage private dances. There is also no upsell, over-priced drinks, blathering DJ, nosy bouncers, or shortened songs.

The theatre is small, basement room with two rows of benches seating 12-14 spectators. The performance space is elaborately decorated with feathers, gilt paint, draperies, and cushions. There were three couples in the audience when I visited, and the women seemed to be quite comfortable with the atmosphere and the performances.
