Since my last review (nearly a year ago), the dancer lineup at The Acropolis has only improved. Some old favorites have returned, and several future favorites have joined the club.

For first-time visitors, brace yourselves. This is not one of the so-called "gentlemen's clubs" as seen on TV. This is a local bar, with a mix of working-class, professional, and hipster customers who are looking for a comfortable place to spend some time. Pay no attention to the club's "decor" (no brass railings, mirrored ceilings, or tuxedoed doormen here), but enjoy it for its friendly ambience, cheap-but-good food, relatively low drink prices, and beautiful dancers.

I believe cover charge on weekend nights is $3-$4, a pitcher of beer is $6, and a surprisingly good steak can be had for around $7. A full bar is also on hand. And please do the girls, and all of us regulars a favor: tip the dancers.
