....I've always enjoyed my time spent at the Criket. After the remodel, the club looks great; much better than the condition it was in before. I can always find a seat that I like, and usually without any jostling from the other tables. Cover is never anything drastic, and the bucket of beer special is always the way to go. The waitresses can sometimes be a little slow, but it's never been a horrible problem for me, even when it's quite busy. It's nice and dark, and comfortable. I've never eaten here, so I can't comment on that. Overall, I find the place comfortable and not anything like the "high class" places, where I always feel like I'm being corralled off to some table and always feel out of place. I get a neighborhood bar vibe from this place big time.

The girls might not be la creme de la creme, but most are still quite good-looking. I've found them, for the most part, to be conversational and nice. They seem to like to take the time to learn about you and chat with you before moving onto anything else. There's the obligatory buy a dancer a drink move, but I've never felt any pressure to do so, except with girls I wouldn't want a dance with anyway. Most girls get the clue if you want a dance or not pretty quickly, which is nice.

As for the dances themselves, I would place the VIP room up towards the top of the list of ones I've encountered. There's not total privacy sheets like the Coliseum, but the walls are high enough on each seat to block the view; if there's somebody across from you, you can check that out, but that's not unique to this place. There's also a big corner couch if that's more of your scene. The dances I have had range from totally tame to outright crazy. However, I've never felt like I was doing something that was going to get me kicked out at any point. That's either a plus or a minus for you, I imagine.
