Wanted to give Joy's one last shot before sending it to my personal strip club trash heap. Without being too judgmental, I just didn't feel comfortable at Joy's. A decent physical building belies a rough crowd; seemingly getting more rough by the week.

The dancers seem to reflect the clientele. Mostly Hispanic, mostly plumb with more tattoos than teeth. The one white dancer I saw sat down but for goodness sake, she was close to 50 years old. She may have had 36-C boobs 25 years ago but she definitely has 34-long boobs now. The bartender was the prettiest woman in the building.

I've given this place two shots. On my first visit, the manager was concerned about the clientele and seemed genuinely interested in recruiting a better crowd. I told him at the time that he needs to insist on collared shirts, no leather jackets or bandannas and somehow get some dancers between 20 - 25 years old and under 135 pounds. What he has now is a ghetto looking club with dancers who can't work anywhere else. He seems either satisfied with what he has or maybe resigned to what he has.
