$15 cover. Nice girl at the counter. Walked in. Deserted. Not a body to be seen. Thought; just wait and see. Finally noticed two at the bar, and a server. No DJ, nothing. Finally one of the 2 walked over and introduced. Still no dancer on stage. Goon guarding the door to VIP became visible. I started to express my displeasure, the girl went and asked the goon if she could go on stage. His body language told the tale. As she walked back over, I got up and headed for the door. The door girl wouldn't issue a refund, and I happened to notice a manager back inside. As I walked up, the girl was telling him that I had walked out. I expressed my disappointment, and to his credit, issued a full refund, along with 2 passes. Nice gesture, but too late. If there aren't any entertainers on the stage, then simply don't charge admission until there are. Easy enough.
