I have been reading reviews for Bourbon Street for a long time. It had been 5 or so years since my last visit so I thought I would stop in to see if this club was as good as I have been reading. The first thing I noticed was how dark it was, I stumbled my way to the bar to wait till my eyes adjusted. While I was there, ordered a beer, the bartender was friendly enough and brought popcorn with the beer. Always a good trick, serve salty popcorn to build your thirst. That's ok I was thirsty to begin with. By the time my eyes adjusted I decided to just stick at the bar and watch the girls from the bar stage.

The dancers were my real disappointment. I stage tipped numerous dancers and they seemed very cold, usually I get at least a little conversation even if just a thank you. The other real disappointment for me was the overwhelming amount of silicone. I probably saw a dozen dancers on stage and at most 2 were natural. Admittedly I prefer small natural breasts to fakes, but I can look past the fakes if two other aspects are met. Number one the dancer is friendly and sociable, and two it is a good boob job. I swear I saw some boob shapes that I have never seen in 20+ years of strip club attendance and it was not a pretty sight. I can normally get past bad boob jobs, but the one fairly friendly girl had such a nightmare of a boob job that even friendliness did not help.

Perhaps this was just an off day, but I totally missed the appeal that has brought the high ratings. It was happy hour $8 table dances so would have been a good deal.
