From out of town, I first visited this club last week. It is a bit traditional in that it is close to downtown, has a nice big building with free parking, and it regularly features famous pornstars. But the regular dancers here - the main attraction in my view - are quite pretty and one - brunette Abigail - was a real 10; another hottie I remember was Kera. The dancers, customers, and staff were all friendly and the prices were reasonable, e.g. $4 for a beer; I believe I paid a $10 cover. They had a nice crowd for a Thursday night, although the large building was only about half full. Al’s has one long middle stage surrounded by chairs, with tables further back. Two dancers share this stage for three songs, circling around addressing each customer seated next to the stage and collecting tips, and then the next pair come on stage. Private booth dances are $25 for 4 minutes; these dances were first topless and then nude, although the booths are a bit dark. My three dances were fine but not memorable. A VIP experience was said to be $175 but I didn't try it. The featured pornstar performed enthusiastically, handed out DVDs and other souvenirs, circulated afterwards collecting tips, and was then available for a private dance. Although the pornstar was famous, I personally preferred the regular dancers. But some others in the crowd seemed to really enjoy the pornstar. One tip: after the pornstar performance most of the dancers disappear into booths, giving private dances, so plan your moves accordingly. I enjoyed this club and its dancers and will be back, but probably will avoid the pornstar shows.
