Was in Melbourne figured i needed a night out. Walked down to King Street and found myself walking by clubs. Saw the Spearmint Rhino, i remember the club from trips to Vegas, so i figured ok, give it a try.

Cover was a couple of bucks, not more than 10 Australian. strange entrance is a hallway and stairs going up. Got to the club it is relatively small, single main stage with a large bar, lots of couches and chairs at small tables.

Got a drink from the bar and immediately got talking to a dancer from Holland, had the usual initial conversation, had i been there, where am i from, etc. then got the pitch to go back to a room for a dance. I declined, not knowing anything of the club details. I found out later that all the dances occur in semi-private booths off the main floor, and the price varies. Seems the most common was 50$ Aus for 2 dances, one topless, one nude.
