I have been going to this place for a number of years now, as well as most of the bars in Paterson.

Of the 4 bars in the downtown Paterson area (La Vie en Rose, Moonlight Lounge, Caberet and Baby Dolls), Baby Dolls will generally give you the best time. Unlike years ago, none of these bars will give you 10s. However, Baby Dolls generally gives you your best shot at an occasional 8.

Baby Dolls is the smallest of the 4 bars, but it is definitely the most well-run, and the safest. Off-duty cops are hired as security guards, and they stand right outside the door. They are buzzed from the barmaids, if needed. I have only seen one fight break out in about 12 years of frequent attendance, which was almost immediately stopped.
