While on the road I like to go in search of new clubs. This one was an interesting find. Fredonia is a small village in western New York, about half way between Erie PA, and Buffalo NY, a few miles from Lake Erie. The town is basically a college town (SUNY Fredonia), and a farm town.

There are a lot of vinyards and farms in this part of the state. I wasn’t expecting much in this area, but the club, despite some disappointments has potential. A lot of the town’s bars don’t even bother to open Monday through Wednesday. This club was no different. I went in on a Thursday night. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

The club is a small brick building about a block off the main street of the town which is also Route 20. The cover is $10. You enter on the right side of the

building near the front and pay the cover. As you enter the only stage is in front of you.

The stage consists of a large area about 10’x20’ at the far end of the club with mirrors, and a runway about 6’ wide running from the center of the
