Made my way to the Showcase...

Made my way to the Showcase about 9 PM on a Thursday, despite all the warnings, finding the club was not that hard. GPS helped, but it is really just a right off of Baltimore, a hard left almost immediately (I mean a 90 degree left, and I mean five seconds after turning off the highway), followed by a hard right at the stop sign. then just a block down on the right. Neighborhood seems fine, really just off the main drag.

Getting out of downtown DC was much tougher then finding the club, without GPS I might never have escaped!

Does look like a dive, both in and out of the club. $20 cover and a $5 coke required. You get your hand stamped so you can go out to your car anytime during the night and fill your pop with the alcohol of your choice. Only couches are right in front of the stage, the rest of the club is padded dining chairs, at tables and along all the walls.
