I had heard good things about the Lodge for some time, and was glad that business brought me to Dallas so I could check it out myself. The place itself is amazing-- big log and timber structure, warm rustic feel to the place, great sound system, big comfortable chairs. But you don't go to these places for ambiance... The dancers were numerous, beautiful and friendly. I chatted with several--no pressure. Many were happy to visit, since the Cowboys game was on TV and most other customers were distracted by that. I got a couple of dances each from two ladies. There was no real private place on the main floor (I didn't pay extra to go upstairs or to the VIP champaigne room), so the dances were right at the table. The first was from a nice experienced, enhanced lady-- nice but nothing special. The second was from a young, slender newbie who was stunningly beautiful, but who allowed no touching at all. Had the first one been prettier, or the second one less restrictive, I would stayed longer and spent much more. For my money, I'll give up some ambiance for more private, interactive dances.
