I had driven past Cafe Risque tons of times, as a travel often between Tampa and Gainesville, Jax, Tallahassee, etc., but I had never stopped as I'd heard it was somewhat like a greasy spoon with tits. Walked in, $5 cover and was told the basics of the place...no alcohol, and the place is a restaurant with strippers who get fully nude. Minimum purchase is a 3.50 coke but you can order food if you want. There is also a pool table in the place. The layout is odd...full bright lights and it really is kind of like a greasy spoon restaurant, but with a small stage on one side that the strippers get up on and dance. The way the strippers work is, it's $30 for one of three options. 1)A full nude private pole dance, 2)a private dance where the girl wears boy shorts and grinds on you for 5 minutes 3)a peep show where you're separated by a one-way mirror and I guess you can beat off while she plays with herself. You can also get 10 minutes for 50 bucks with those options. I sat down and ordered a coke and checked the talent. It was ...ok...not great but not bad. Friendly girls...and then I saw HER. HER name was "Darla." She was like a diamond in the rough. SO out of place for this dive. Darla was 5'9" and 6'2" in her heels. 36 years old and looks 23.
