Stopped by the Blue on a Thursday afternoon. I had been there before, but this time was different. The bouncer was an almost constant presence in the LD room, which isn't a very pleasant experience. Even if you're just trying to get a normal dance - with nothing more - the presence of a big bouncer watching you like a hawk every ten seconds or so is disconcerting and counterproductive. There were about 12 dancers working, a few in the 7-8 range and most in the 5-6 range.

Most girls are friendly enough, but many seemed to have their favorites and chat them up, consequently not really making themselves available for any other customers. The cleanliness? Well, it's borderline clean enough. Cost? No cover charge and the usual $5 (or so) drink. The private dances are $20 each, and you do hear the same 2-minute song playing on the jukebox in the back for most dancers. There are a few that seem to rebel from that rip-off scheme, thankfully, but most do not. Perhaps that is the biggest annoyance of EB: those short rip-off 2 minute songs in the back. Couple that with the imposing presence of the bouncer now, and you're looking at something that may not be worth experiencing anymore. Something needs to change.
