Camelot was exactly as advertised: upscale, expensive, and incredible. The place is well laid out (rather skinny building, but hey, it's DC), and the drinks are a tad on the expensive side (I spent 30 bucks to get a moderate buzz), but the ladies more than make up for it. The thug factor is almost non-existent. When I went there were roughly a dozen or so other guys there who all looked like capitol hill big-wigs. But the one thing that definitely sets Camelot apart from all the other DC joints I've been to is the food. Not only do you get personally seated at your table by the doorman, but a gorgeous girl quickly comes over for a chat while you peruse their interesting menu. I had never ordered food from a strip club before, only taken advantage of the free buffets, and this food definitely didn't disappoint. While it was fairly pricey again (I think I paid around 15-20 dollars for a solid meal), I would actually recommend this as a lunchtime getaway for the guys.

The girls lived up to their exquisite billing. Not only did they meet my expectations based on their website pictures (they were VERY accurate), but they were also friendly and approachable. The lack of touching/lapdances kinda takes some of the fun out of it, but if you eating a meal, maybe going without the contact isn't such a bad thing after all. Also, immediately after I sat down one of the girls came over and sat down at my table. She asked me if I wanted a drink/anything else and made me feel right at home. There were maybe 10 or so dancers on duty at the time, and with the strange lack of customers, it made the viewing much more enjoyable. The girls' bodies were tremendous and lived up to their billing with great curves and figures. Overall, I would recommend this place as a must for the DC tourist/regular. While it isn't a sleazy freak show, it does provide a clean and safe environment for gawking at some of the most beautiful ladies on the East coast.
