For those of you who would...

For those of you who would like to visit Reynosa, it has changed a lot since the last review. I went there at 2am Saturday night/Sunday morning thinking it was going to be just as much a party town as Tijuana...I was wrong.

There were virtually no cars in the parking lot on the US side of the border, and nobody crossing over into Mexico. When I got onto the Mexico side there were NO taxis to meet me, and virtually no people.

For the first half mile the place was a militarized zone. Tanks, Mexican soldiers with AK-47's, and all of the businesses were closed tight. Evidently the drug cartells and gangs have really stepped up their offense, and the Mexican government has stepped in to stop the activity by imposing a curfew in this part of the city.
