Hip Hugger is usually rated one of the top clubs in the US. I just don't get it. Maybe its because the locals compare it to other bars in the area.

Yes, there are always a plentiful supply of ladies available, and yes they do allow some two-way contact, but the overall experience is poor. The girls just rush from table to table to get a dance and then put you in a hard chair up against the wall next to every other guy getting a dance. Zero privacy and zero intimacy. The girls then jump up and are on to the next victim. They spend most of their time at the tables or the bar with the locals.

Beer is cheap enough, and the crowd makes anyone feel comfortable. Pool tables and TV's are available towards the back of the club. And no cover charge in the afternoon. Certainly not the worst club, but clearly not one of the best.
